Complete black box for the TONE Touch 04


This keeps your down times to a minimum. If your TONE Touch 04 is scheduled to be serviced or if a defect should occur, you can simply replace the black box without further ado. After the revision, the revised black box is then available again as a backup for quick replacement.


The black box is the heart of the TONE Touch 04. It contains all the electronics, including the front push buttons for operation. The main switch is on the back and below there are the connections for the network (LAN), the electrical connection (plug) and the water connection.


To replace a black box, all you have to do is unplug the connections on the back and loosen two Allen screws that hold the black box in the TONE Touch 04 frame. After that you can slide the black box backwards a bit until the push buttons no longer protrude through the front of the rack and then lift the black box up and out.
To insert, simply reverse the order: insert the black box into the frame of the TONE Touch 04 from above. Slide the black box forward so the push buttons protrude through the front of the frame. Now tighten the two Allen screws at the back so that the black box is firmly in place. Then plug in the connections again on the back.


The descaling valve (for screwing in the descaler bottles) is not part of the black box. This is mounted to the housing of the TONE Touch 04 and connected to the black box via a short water tube. The main water supply is then connected to the descaling valve.
