Marcus Bohl, owner of BOHL SHOP, was involved as an employee of LRP AG (Development) until mid-2022 in the electrical development, certifications and ultimately also in the production of the TONE Touch 03 by the Thuner Kaffeemaschinenfabrik (Thun coffee machine factory). LRP AG drove the technical development of the Touch 03.
Thuner Kaffeemaschinenfabrik AG (TKM) was founded in October 2019 as a limited liability company (GmbH) by partners Thomas Liebe (Ad Rem Design AG, Design), Markus Widmer (LRP AG, Development), and TONE Kaffeemaschinen AG (Sales), represented by Holger Welz (TONE founder).
The management of TKM consists of Markus Widmer, Thomas Liebe, and Urs Meier. The company's current headquarters are located at Mittlere Strasse 52 in 3600 Thun, Switzerland, where production and further development also take place.
The employees of TONE Europe GmbH, TONE's European subsidiary in Hamburg, distribute the coffee machines worldwide through their dealer network and exhibit the brand and TONE products at trade fairs.
Marcus Bohl has since supported TKM as needed, for example, in the development and certification of coffee machines, in employee training, and in production.
BOHL SHOP generally sources the TONE coffee machines and accessories offered here in the shop directly from the TKM location in Thun, which means relatively short delivery times and high availability for our customers.
BOHL SHOP manufactures and supplies the "Electrical Distribution Box T04" to TKM, an accessory for operating the Touch 04 in countries such as the USA.
