LRP AG, headquartered in Thun, Switzerland, is an innovative Swiss company specializing in the development and manufacture of technical solutions in various fields.
LRP AG specializes in the planning, development, manufacture, assembly, and sale of technical products, goods, and equipment for process automation. It provides all related services. It has many years of experience in the development of laboratory automation, fluid handling and image analysis systems, as well as coffee machines.
The company supports its customers from the initial idea through development to product launch, offering comprehensive services including consulting, validation of automated workflows, and operator training.
The company was founded in 2012 under the name RPD Products AG and has operated as LRP AG since 2014. The abon LIFE SCIENCES GmbH, founded in 2010, joined LRP AG in 2021. The two companies were merged under the name LRP AG.

Connections
Markus Widmer (LRP AG) and his team have primarily advanced the technical development of the TONE Touch 03 coffee machines and built the first prototypes.
Thomas Liebe (Ad Rem Design AG) developed the design Thomas Liebe is an expert in his field with years of experience in coffee machine development.
Holger Welz (TONE Kaffeemaschinen AG), the founder of TONE and expert in coffee machine sales, together with his employees, has contributed their broad know-how to the development of the coffee machines.
At the end of 2019, the three founded the Thuner Kaffeemaschinenfabrik (TKM) (Thun Coffee Machine Factory) to produce the coffee machines they developed, which has been manufacturing in Thun ever since.
The management of TKM consists of Markus Widmer, Thomas Liebe, and Urs Meier.
LRP AG is also involved in the development of follow-up products such as the TONE Touch 04 and the Touch E.
Connection to BOHL SHOP | BOHL Coffee Solutions:
Marcus Bohl, the owner of BOHL SHOP, was an employee of LRP AG until mid-2022, involved in the electrical development, certification, and ultimately production of the TONE Touch 03. He then worked with LRP AG on several projects as a freelancer.
